You can’t use liposcution to remove fat from arteries. You certainly can’t treat obesity with liposcution either. HTH.

You can do it right now if you want to. The purpose of lipo is to actually vacuum the fat out of the area the doctor is performing lipo on. If you drop the weight first and then go in for Plastic Surgery they’ll probably just lift any sagging areas or remove excess skin (that’s usually when people drop a ton of weight, and their skin doesn’t snap back, but instead it hangs there.) A ctheter is typically used in any operation that has a decent length to it – for example – a person getting their tonsils removed would not be catheterized typically, as it is a fairly quick procedure, while a person getting a hip replaces would get a catheter. Liposuction, dpepnding on location and volume is a relatively quick surgery and is even sometimes done under local anesthesia – you won’t typically see someone getting a little bit of liposuction done be catheterized.
