Is it true that is … A woman died due to an explosion of breast implants?
I heard that a woman with breast implants died in a plane after the burst due to air pressure. I've been hearing this story, but a little hesitation.
It is not possible. The implants are bags soft, a little liquid, either a base silcon viscous fluid or a saline water solution. Liquids do not expand like a balloon that the air pressure lower than an airplane. Implants do not get any bigger at all, much less explode. There are reports that women's reactions to silicone implants especially if there are losses, and there was a (long discontinued) with a plastic cover from the outside foam that caused problems: if someone died because the implants do not know. Can be a lifesaver though: An Israeli woman was wounded in a rocket attack and surgeons who are in the implant of shrapnel that may have passed through her heart and killed if not for them. A Bulgarian woman for allegedly saved their implants, which was in a car accident and his (very large) implants apparently absorbed the impact (and the explosion, but …) that could have been fatal to a "normal."
