I’ve never had it done to myself because I’m not a disgusting pig but my best friend USED to be a WHALE until she had it done. I almost feel bad for telling her that if she didn’t get it done, I wouldn’t be her friend any more but now she’s got some weird issues for some reason. She goes back every couple of months to have something ELSE done. Her boobs, her cheeks, her lips, botox, her but, her nose. It was definitely a slippery slope once she started. Now she looks like Michael Jackson a little bit. But not as pretty.

If they did liposuction on that large a scale, the person would experience large-scale fluid-loss, and possibly just die there on the table from fluid loss. It would be very dangerous to attempt removing large amounts of fat at one time. It’s not cheap, if that’s what you mean! : ) It doesn’t hurt much, especially if you are put out. I think the worst of it, is the open wounds that drain out all of the liquid. It’s kind of gross and really a nuisance to leak bloody liquid for 24hrs. Once that stops, it is basically caring of the wounds, hydrating the skin with lotion, b/c you’ll be incredibly itchy and no matter how much you scratch, the tissue is still numb underneath your skin, so you can’t satisfy your itches. You’ll wear a compression garment for two weeks and you’ll have bruising that will last a few weeks, as well. The swelling will go down in several weeks. Actual final results are seen in 12-18 weeks. I’d say you could go back to work by day 3. It is well worth it, if its’ affordable for you. It really boosts your confidence. I mean who doesn’t love dropping a few inches, right? : )

Depends how quickly you heal, however, about 10-14 days before the swelling goes down and it stops hurting. Then you need to get the stitches out once it’s healed and after this, a further week for the swelling to go down again.

isn’t it safer to have cosmetic surgery in the united states? I heard in countries like india the procedures are a lot cheaper but alot more unsanitary.
